Key Responsibilities:
Communication Systems Development
  • Architect, design, and develop communication technologies for Unmanned Aircraft Systems 
  • Explore and evaluate emerging technologies for integration into UAS platforms
  • Design and implementation of RF and other wireless links and networks
  • Develop proof-of-concept prototypes
  • Integrate communication hardware with avionics and embedded systems

Manage Operations:
  • Plan and execute lab experiments, field tests, and flight trials
  • Perform verification and validation of test cases
  • Manage lifecycle issues related to communication hardware, software, and associated resources

Tools, Software & Process Development:
  • Write, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable software modules
  • Establish standardized processes for system integration and evaluate common tools
  • Prepare timely and accurate documentation for all tasks, including design reviews and internal records

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Strong fundamentals and familiarity of wireless communication concepts and technologies is necessary.
  • Experience or coursework in wireless communication, computer networks and embedded systems.
  • Exposure to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar SoCs
  • Experience with Python scripting


Basic Requirement (education & relevant experience):
  • Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in working on relevant projects and internships are preferred.
